Going to be a long week of traveling for me. Wish I could be home enjoying the tank. Hope everyone got what they wanted on the auctions and looking forward to seeing pics and videos of people's hauls.

Where are you off to?
Minneapolis from today through Wednesday then flying straight from Minneapolis to Oakland for a meeting on Thursday then back home and then back out on Friday to Seattle and finally back home on that next Tuesday for a whole day before going back out to Sacramento.

I want to just watch my tank and make adjustments to flow, but nothing I can do about it.

Ugh, it's only 8:30. I got to work at 3:30 and it feels like I've been here for a week.

Maybe I need that when I go to London for 3 weeks even though my brother will be coming over once every other day
They are cheap and work pretty well for the price. Then again you'll be staring at your phone that much more while your gone. :rolling-on-the-floor-laughing:

Consider it added security, check in on the tanks and able to call if you spot something is wrong.

I'm $33 short of the free shipping. I just purchase shippping mod. I was thinking of snails, but I didn't see any
If ya think you have enough snails, buy more. I use to think those big snail packs were too many, but I can see I was mistaken now. They do a heck of a job when you have enough.

I know I have no say in this.... but that sounds like a silly schedule. (I can't help to look at things logically). If you are already in Oakland CA..... its easier to stay the day and fly out to Seattle. Or fly out to Seattle a day early and just sight see. Then fly out BACK to Sacramento.

My brother is such an idiot sometimes. I keep telling him you can never have enough snails. I gave him my last pack. They do a great job. I need some more for my 180

I ordered the 25 gallon pack from SaltwaterAquarium. I thought this looks like a lot of snails. But it turned out to just enough.

Yes to all three.

They can branch, or split along the same structure, or they'll bud lower on the skeleton, but you always have to crack 'em off to propagate them.

I have a torch that has a bud starting on the side of the skeleton. Heads are splitting which is the most typical way.

Once they split and have no connecting tissue you can frag them off. When they have enough skeleton you can cut below the tissue without damaging it.

Any tissue damage may send the torch into shock and risk loosing the head.

I initially started with 20 trochus and 10 turbo snails. They reproduce a lot, so never had to buy more.
