I am about to get the new batteries for my coralbox battery backup for my Jebao return pump and after organizing my RKE setup this morning and mounting it to a board it got me thinking about how can I use the battery backup while still using the standby mode without the battery backup kicking in when the outlet shuts off?
I know there was an RKE module that had the DC pump 3 prong cable (DCI I think) but short of that I was curious how I would go about doing that short of unplugging the powercord from the controller but that negates the benefits of having a standby mode.
I was curious if I could make my own "DCI module" with a relay tied into one of the 0-10v ports on a module and wire it into the 3 pronged power cords for my Jebao pumps?
Basically make it so the power changes on the 0-10v port during said standby modes that will control the relay during standby mode cutting power/signal from the controller head to the pump so that it won't matter that the battery backup is still providing power with the outlet turned off.
Thoughts?
