Oh man. I hate seeing that.

Are you running bubblers on battery?

If you have pvc you can put the stone in them and have them draw the water up through them, keep the top of the pipe under water. It'll provide flow and gas exchange.

Yeah, idk of this method, can u explain a little more

Think about a pipe with the air stone in the bucket of water.

As the bubbles go up, it pulls the water up too.

Like an air stone powered skimmer.

If the top of the pipe is under the surface of the water the water flows out of the tube.

Pulling the water up creates flow on the bottom. It pouring out the top creates more flow.

So I lost a total of 4 sticks. Bummer! Everything looks ok-ish, it hasn't really returned to being as happy as it was in the biocube anyways. Here is some pics! Oh I forgot to tell you guys I added a 48" Reefbrite Tech LED! You can see it here in this pic! I love it! Thank you Bulk Reef Supply!

I'm glad I stumbled upon your build. I was just at home depot and was thinking about how a travertine bottom would look in our 75. I have to say I'm loving the look of your tank. Awesome job through and through

Thanks man! Yeah I love the look so far too, it doesn't really show in pictures but coralline is really starting to encrust all over it and I think that combined with easy fragging of corals that encrust on the tiles is a really functional and unique version of a bare bottom Reef.

My thoughts exactly. I was thinking of doing clusters of GSP, Sympodium, and various Zoanthids on the tiles and just letting them merge in a dense mat.

That would be sick! And then you can replace the tile with a new (cycled) one and let it get covered again, all while you cut the tile into little tiles covered in zoas and sell them and start letting that tank work for you! I said that in one breath. Whewf

What did you end up using to cut the travertine? I am using these in my current build but don't have a tile saw. Was wondering if there was something easier/cheaper I could trim them with
