I like the grey and the grain look- not a fan of the trim. I haven’t decided how I want it to look yet. I prefer black stands! Paint it alllll black.

I go bare feet as much as I can. If I have to wear shoes I wear sandals up until it hits low 40s. So no judgment here.

is your stand wood or is that the exterior wrap? I’m half considering using a laminate flooring for the wrap because most are pretty easy to fit together and fairly durable

So long as you properly seal both ends that get cut, sounds like a great plan.
