Do you mean don’t use a toothbrush if treating in tank because it can spread or not use a toothbrush at all?I am assuming GHA. That is best removed manually and spot treated with H2O2.
Do not use a toothbrush to clean it off the rock.
Correct, do not use a toothbrush in the tank. It will spread like wildfire. You can use a brush with the rock outside the tank using lukewarm freshwater rinse before putting the rock back in but that still poses some risk as even small segments may continue to grow.Do you mean don’t use a toothbrush if treating in tank because it can spread or not use a toothbrush at all?
