Favorite coral? EUPHILIA- I don't have a frog spawn or Elegance yet. So on the list! I love the unique regional color morphs.
Favorite invert? Taratula's in peticular my OBT. I actually have 20+ tarantula's. Let's talk aquatic....i totally love pom pom crab's and peppermint shrimp. Currently I have a cleaner shrimp and a bunch of Hermie's and snails
Tell us about your tank(s)! What size are they? What do you keep in them? Do you have a build thread? 65 gallon Red Sea AIO reef system. It has been running 6 month now with mainly LPS and softies. I also have a few of the easier SPS. We have a tomini tang, pair of clown fish and PJ cardinals, school of Chromis, a red spot hawkfish and a scooter blenny. I started a build thread but never completed it. It's on the list. Lol
Do you have any planned upgrades or hopeful future tweaks to your tank(s)? A long term goal is a hang on the back overflow box to a sump, and more immediate future I will need a dosing system. I recently had to start dosing mag, alk and calcium.
What's your favorite thing to watch in your tank? Our collection of torches and fish. Watching my zoa garden growing and taking over the rock work is awesome! I love watch my tank TV! Lol
Are there any parts of the reef hobby you get really excited over? bringing home a new, unique coral. I like unique pieces. Currently,My prize coral is a SBB 99 Bannana's torch.

Currently have a 40G breeder with a 40G breeder as a sump as well. I am using a ReefMat1200 and a Simplicity 120DC Skimmer to clean the water with a Neptune COR20 as the return pump. I have an Apex2 controller and Trident (that’s not working right) to monitor everything. It’s overkill but I was planning on upgrading soon. I’ll get to that in the next question. Up top is the 40g breeder with (2) AI Prime 16 lights, a Neptune WAV, and Neptune Auto Feeder. I feed pellets during the day and a frozen cube each night. Fish wise I have, (2) Phantom Clown Fish, (2) Banggai Cardinalfish, (1) Bluegreen Cromis, 1 Cleaner Shrimp, (3) Fire shrimp, (1) Goby, (1) Pistol Shrimp, Few Red-Legged Hermits, Few Blue-Legged Hermits, (2) Emerald Crabs, and a few Snails. Yes, I have a build thread as well.

Do you have any planned upgrades or hopeful future tweaks to your tank(s)?
I just picked up a dirty **** 125 gallon that I will be cleaning up, and getting ready for my setup. Previous owner had it set up a bit differently than I do, and I will be getting it all clean and lined up over Christmas break. That’s my chore to do between Christmas and new years. This tank will be my ability to get some more fish and finally get my yellow tang without alerting the tang police. Plus it will look so much better on the stand that I built. I also have a RODI setup in my basement that I just replaced everything to and is currently dripping, so that will probably be a project for this weekend.

What's your favorite thing to watch in your tank?
I love watching their personalities. Who they get along with, who they ignore, the relationship between them and what they do. I think the pairing of the goby and the pistol shrimp is so unique and cool. They are always together. I would love to say the growth of the corals or something like that but since I am under a year in the hobby I don’t have that experience just yet. I have the corals, just not the growth. Not yet….

Are there any parts of the reef hobby you get really excited over?
Honestly, I love it when my wife and I get to spend time together just watching the fish and what they are doing. I like to spend time with her when they are feeding so they all come out and look for food and move around. We make it a point to look for the smaller crabs, or the goby, or counting all 3 smaller shrimp. You can never miss the cleaner shrimp (big joe). I just enjoy that time with her and watching together.

Honestly, I would love to get something YOU are passionate about. Something YOU think works great or YOU love. I’m so new into this hobby and I am trying to learn. I’ll be upgrading from a 40G to a 125G soon enough, so anything helps and I’m easy! Show me what YOU love so I can enjoy it too!

What got you stated in the hobby?
My son started a freshwater aquarium, and in order to do something with him and “bond”, I took on a saltwater aquarium. Now he has 3 different freshwater aquariums, and I am still trying to get my one balanced out. dang kids. But honestly, I enjoy it, and talking with him about different gadgets and tools and what he can use vs. what I can use, etc. It gives us something to talk about and work on together.

Have you done this before?
Nope! This is the first time I have participated in the Secret Santa on here. I am looking forward to it. Hoping this is just the first of many years to come! But for right now, I am a Secret Santa Virgin.

I like to get a royal angel fish next and yes, I have a build thread
Do you have any planned upgrades or hopeful future tweaks to your tank(s)? I like to add more lighting like blades for supplemental lighting. Get a set of dosing pumps so I don't have to keep doing everything manually lol. Maybe down the line get a larger sump so I can increase water volume.
