Very much deserved. Congrats.
Respect for keeping such a loaded tank in a very minimal water volume where there is no room for error.

Such an amazing tank! Not gonna lie, was a bit freaked out when I saw the tangs hanging out in it, but it is amazing to see how the tank has progressed! Thanks for sharing! :)

Nicholas, nice point as most of the books we cut teeth on from earlier decades say allelopathy should prevent that from working

Somehow corals acclimatize or become habituated such that small volumes suppress chemical warfare for the corals we keep. Perhaps there are some untested ones that wouldn't comply, but most scleractinians behave well packed in like clowns in a vw

Mesenterial warfare, external gut digestion, isn't suppressed so corals like hydnophora or stinging Galaxea can still cause damage. They're either not used typically in small picos or they're spaced just right to comply for a given time interval

Someone working on a phd thesis please run it on pico reef allelopathic suppression it would be new mechanisms described for science

I have the same question as well, with so many corals packed, is there any warfare going on? If there is no warfare, are there any certain sps/corals avoided being put in?

I'm impressed that you were able to source such a nice diversity of corals and livestock from within China. My wife is from there and we have been to Beijing, Shanghai, and some other small cities and I've never been able to find any nice shops with coral reef tanks. Lots of freshwater though. Maybe I just didn't know where to look. Can you share any pics from your "market" where you get all your livestock over the years?
