I guess when used the feeders I figured it’s ready to eat

Yeah they eat at night catching stuff in the water. But they’ll flair up for you any time you drop food on em. For the best reaction spritz them with some reef roids or aminos, wait 5 min or so, and then feed em a huge chunk of something.

They will get warmed up with the roids and can dang near eat a cow after
