Yea thats what im hoping to use as well as long as that gets me an ab type spectrum and no distinct color separation. Although i will need to figure out a new lid if i have to use the tank mount. Do you have any idea what the 24" bar max wattage is ? Im running just about 90 watts with 2 primes but get shading

I don’t think you’ll have an issue with blending. I’m currently running 3 Meso blues with some 14k Ushio’s and it’s a great combo. With just the MB’s on, there’s absolutely no separation at all, but there’s a nice gentle shimmer. The Helix will have double the diodes under each lens, so the blending will be even better than before. That’s the secret sauce to blending the different diodes.

i keep looking for an update on the helix . I want to try 3 on a lagoon 50 gallon . The tank is a little too big for one light that can usually cover 24x18 and i think the bars would work perfect as long as it blends in fine
Release date from Luca just now is targeted for Early September.

Following for some helix over my 6ft x 2 foot tank... hoping roughly 6-7 inches off the surface of the water will work

Does anyone know the weight of the atlas? I thought he mentioned it in one of his videos but can’t find it

Stainless steel mounting cable to ceiling
Did mine with heavy duty drywall anchor in ceiling

My ceiling is plaster. And crappy plaster at that. It’s something that’s easy to solve I think. Having a double bracket should work

Im interested to see the wattage of each size of the helix . Im also wondering the size of the tank mounts for the multilight helix mount system. It looks it wont be able to sit on top of lets say the stock innovative marine screen tops so would need to get a cutout or hang them. Will the 3 helix bundle each have their own power brick or can multiple lights be plugged into one supply. So many questions..lol

One power supply per light at the moment. 3 pack will have 3. The 0-10vt is easy I hooked a hydros wave engine and did a 0-10 cable to the hydros. There is some connectors on amaze that take a 3.5mm female to two cables. I just cut the hydros cable and wired them. I should make a video. I believe the wattage for helix is

24* - 40w
36* - 60w
48* - 80w
60* - 100w
72 - 120w

Anyone know if it will be easy to mount to a photon ? Photon48 has built in t-slot / channel with three of these bolts that can slide as needed along the 48” fixture
