Snail eggs, but unsure on the species.

Could be, but if I'm not mistaken, astrea & nassarius snails lay eggs in a similar fashion. Neriths are the only ones that I know are different, looking more like little sesame seeds on rockwork.

Astreas are "broadcast" type spawners . I have seen them do it in my tank. It looks like the pictures of the corals spawning on the reef. It's really neat. It could be nassarius I've never seen any of those. And you are correct about the Nerite they look just like big sesame seeds on the rocks.
