Gasping at the surface is often a sign of low oxygen. Its late at night but a water change and addition of air stone will help. Oh no the top of the water is just food I accidentally overfeed them but the excess food is all cleared out my badWelcome to Reef2Reef!
The picture isn’t clear, but there seems to be some foam at the top of the tank. That can be a sign of something wrong with the water.
