Apologies for late submission - had a mishap where my auto-feeder sent about a month's worth of food into the tank in one day right after I received this piece! So, lost some coloration on this beautiful guy but it's still kicking and I'm still entering to see how it bounces back :).

During this contest I'll also be continuing my crazy aiptasia battle, too... you might spot one or two or fifty in the pic below.

I’m going to be fighting the aiptasia war too. Just having a hard time deciding a plan of action. Good luck.

Berghia and a file fish worked great for me. F Aptasia and all the other "aptasia killers" only hurt the aptasia and didn't really kill them in my case.

Since we got our frags this month (Oct), do we need to submit a photo for this month or do we wait till next month (Nov)?

On post 1 in the rules see bullet point 2:

A reminder of the rules:
1) Competition will last for 1 year (365 days from when you receive your piece)
2) The 1st month submission must be within 3 days of receiving your frag.
3) The last submission must be 365 days from receiving your frag or sooner. NOT later

I'm going to post this as my October entry, a little early but better than missing it.
Normally I wouldn't mount a coral this fast, but in this case I don't have a ton of choice.

Your tank is a perfect candidate for berghia nudies. Lots of small aptaisia for them to easily find.

Good luck to all in the grow out.

Ah I am so excited! My first ever SPS and it was like my birthday getting to open up my surprises from the battlebox.
They all seemed to ship well and my raindrops on roses quickly showed me some polyp extension which I guess means it was relatively happy!

Will submit an official entry post tomorrow, I need to buy a new ruler. But here she is :)
