@StatelineReefer

terrible photo this month along with little change in size.

I swapped my light control from my apex to mobius and was very happy for the first week. I noticed corals looked upset and did some digging, seems I had set light intensity from 70% to 100% and don’t figure it out for 10 days. Burned a few things, melted a nice speciosa… good times.

basing continues, and I am getting more color variation. Once I get my camera working again with the new color scheme on the radions I will repost, but I didn’t want to miss the cutoff!

as promised, non-potato photo... disregard the dinos please, work in progress :p Also, this is from the dslr and a new macro lens i got, not my iphone, so my filters are a bit off, I do not have pepto bismol rock, but you get the idea.

accidentally giving this thing a thousand par for a week sure did make it turn pink, hopefully this isn't the coral displaying its final measure before dying off!

Isn't that why we have the one missed month allowed?
We actually have two months allowed, non-consecutive.

Good to know. I assumed it's the same rules as the Blood Bank growout Contest and there is no mention of the missing months on the page 1 rules. It would be nice for future BC growouts to have 1 standardized set of rules.

6 days remaining to get your entries in. Remember, you get two non-consecutive months 'off'.

PM me if you want to use one if your frag is settling or you're not ready to photograph it.

5 days are left in March, If you need a month out, remember that you get two non-consecutive months off.

PM me if you need a bit of time.

Also PM me AND @Battlecorals if you're on this list, but still do not have a frag.

(I know of two outstanding, one has already been contacted)

I didn't feel this was a rule that needed to be on the front page of each half of the contest.

But I did announce it in both contests and it's on the front page of the sign up thread.

Thats fair. But its probably best to have all the rules listed in one place for easy reference. I didn't even think to dig up the sign up thread or look through individual posts for additional rules.

Goes back to my original point though, why the exception for a late entry if there is already a built in mechanic to handle late entries?
