Sorry to hear about the likely fate of the tang...

Are you running a fuge to handle the no3 or wc's for no3 export?

Brain made a nice recovery :)
I am running a fuge with chaeto and rocks, I avoid NOPOX but I think the tank needs a water change to reduce the NO3 and avoid stressing the corals.

Yes! the brain made it back, honestly I thought I would lose it, as I lost another one 2 years ago when it started to lose tissue but it made it back. ;Couchpotato

I vote water change. 30%, IN THEORY, should land u at about 35ppm, and another next week to get u to 20ish. I doubt your CUC will let a spike continue much longer.. have u tested ammonia to see what levels ur dealing with?

I am planning 20% but it may be safer to go for 30%, I have not tested for ammonia as my tank managed between 70 ppm - 50 ppm in the past.

Here is a pic I took earlier this month. The very hard worker diamond watchman goby. He is the main responsible to keep my sand clean as the tiger watchman goby does not help him so much.

My new captive breed blue tang arrived today. He seems happy and getting along with the other two tangs. I am still waiting for the magnificent fox face and thinking about a white tail bristletooth tang to complete my tang crew.

A bit bored today only working but when I came out of the hotel it turned there is a Queen concert next to me ! I went to check out if there were still some tickets available but nothing it is sold out. ;Bored

They will repeat the concert tomorrow so I will try it again.

The hotel is the yellow building on the left and the Saitama Arena where the concerts are is on the right.

Mine does an amazing job too. He made a mess the first few weeks, but once he got chubby he chilled some. I love him! I wouldn’t have a sand bottom without one.

I turned to cam on to check on CBB and tangs, they are doing great including the new comer. Then I see activity in the bottom and it turns out to be the tiger goby is buring the brain coral while digging a new burrow. ;Hilarious

Queen concert tickets got available today.... at $600 usd each. I prefer to buy corals. ;Hilarious

Plan B was to visit Tokyo Skytree tower, the tallest tower in Japan with two of my colleagues.

$600 for a ticket? That, in my humble opinion, is a bit over the top. Hey, I get it, if they can demand that price then more power to them. However, with only 2 of the original 4 members playing, I disagree with them billing themselves as Queen.

Goby waited for you to leave so you don’t ruin his fun.
new tang gang adds a lot of movement. My favorite part is the different shapes and colors.

Hope you get to see the show for some stimulation
;Hilarious yes, he is smart enough to make his mess when nobody is around.

I totally agree, way too much money, not worthy IMO. You can get many good looking corals or fish for that money. ;Nailbiting

Oh no! Is someone back home who can clean it off. Honestly, it always surprises me how sensible coral are to sand. You’d think they’d have evolved a way to deal with it. Such as making pearls. ;Hilarious ;)

Such a hate love relationship with sand sifting gobies. They can be such pita's!

That stinks about the price to see that show. I agree, buy coral instead! ;)

The glass bottom room scare the urine out of me. Or the infinity pools that overhang cities? No thanks!
