So she will be a he soon or does she remain a she? Also I havnt seen her today. Is that normal? Im at work until 10 so she probably will be in the sand then, but when I looked for her at 12 I couldnt find her, lights were on.
Eventually become a he probably and it will take time for it to get used to your tank and become accustomed to the lighting schedule.

I wouldn’t completely give up. They can hide for weeks. As I said sometimes I won’t see my eels for weeks.

Hey #wrassenerds sending the bat signal up now that I know its there haha

My beautiful ornate is coming out more! Saw her swimming around today. She still seems a little nervous to eat when shes around Vegas, my 12 year old clownfish. I think its just cause Vegas is HUGE but she isnt mean at all.

Ive always loved dusky wrasses for their color. I was wondering if this would be okay with Bullet? (Thats what I named her, since she zips like a bullet into the sand)

Yes!
Tamarin (Anampses), leopards (macropharyngodon), medium and small Halichoeres, flasher wrasse, and most fairy wrasse get along well. I have ten in one tank!

I’d also say my dusky is big, beautiful, and peaceful! Also looks completely different in different lights. In blue it looks a velvety blue but without blue lights. It’s a beautiful orange with blue lines.
