I got a small juvenile Eightline Flasher wrasse 1 year ago. Keep her in my 320 DT with a bunch of wrasse. She was happy healthy and growing very fast. She grew from about less than 2 inches to about 3.5 inches. Over the last 2 weeks she really change quickly to terminal male. I cannot believe how fast this wrasse change from female to male. Below are the serial pictures of this wrasse. This is my favorite wrasse in my tank, certainly one of the most colorful, not aggressive, but not a timid wrasse. He should do well in a wrasse community tank.
Color changes very quickly. Fins length still a little short. I hope the fins continue to grow a bit more.
