Feed my Blue Gigantea this evening. I took pictures as he chow down on the salmon.
I help him a little by put tow pieces right nest to his mouth.

My Gigantea continue to do well. Picture is about the same so I won't post picture at this time. The tentacles start to form again. I post more picture when there is a difference, new tentacles are longer.

Todd,
There is not one place that I got them from. Many reefers know that I am always on the lookout for nice Gigantea and Magnifica. They let me know when they spot these.
Aquatic Collection in Hayward CA often have nice anemones. You just have to hunt around. They don't come cheap either.
Good luck with your anemone hunt.

Thanks Minh, I may bend your ear at some point. I just transferred my system from a 150g to a used 210 due to a center brace that cracked out of the blue. In the move I got rid of all the Texas super splitting rainbow rose BT's. Pretty but a total pain with continual splitting and my SPS. They're like a plague and prices have dropped big time in TX because they split so often in everyone's tanks....without stress factors etc.

Keep up the nem pics!

I had 1 female Black Leopard Wrasse in my DT and a male and female Black Leopard in my DT reef system (From Petco about 4 weeks ago). All three are doing great. I just have not have time to catch the ones in QT to place into DT. Maybe it is too late for the male Black Leopard. This morning, I think the female Black Leopard in the DT have started to change to male. I see the tail start to have black edges and face start to have the male stripes to it. Will see if this continue. I may have to re-home my Male Black Leopard, or bring him to my office tank instead of home DT.

Just snapped a quick phone pic. Definitive tail coloration change, the black edges of the tail.

Here are pictures of my former female Black Leopard Wrasse. I think she is on her way to become male.

This mean I can forget putting this guy into my DT. Maybe I can put my Female into it. There is no way the male by himself will show this coloration.

My multi-color Gigantea, I got from Petco early 3/2019, is doing really well in my QT system. These are the first pictures that I was able to get that capture the red and orange color of this anemone. In person, the color is brighter and more red and green than in these pictures. My Onyx pair frolicking in it.

My Petco Multicolor Gigantea turn out to be quite a beauty. The picture below is a unedited picture other than cropped, taken with my Olympus E-M5 Ver II. I use the Underwater setting, which it is (compensated for extra blue). I use a Olympus 12-40mmPRO lens. I can see all the Red, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple on the tentacles.
I was going to send him to one of my friend, but looking at him this AM, I could not part with him and apologized to him instead.

My Gigas continue to grow at a fast rate. Gigas #1 out pace Gigas #2 by a bit, but I think Gigas #2 is completely recovered from shipping at this time.
Pictures from yesterday:

Gigas #2 (with a Derasa). I love the blue ring of my Derasa.

I got my Ca reactor running for the last 2 weeks, anticipation the huge uptake of Ca from the clams. The chemistry is stable. Levels are doing great. Tested today. Ca of 450 and alkalinity of 4.45. Perfect IMO. Last week Ca was 440 and Alkalinity was 4.10.
Several weeks ago I tested Mg was 1260. Did not check Mg recently.

Meq/L on Alk? Can't remember the dKH equivalent.
I've always said my tanks looked best with a reactor but risk goes up too.
Looking forward to seeing the new babies grow!
