I’ve heard that you can use a colander, or similar, to put the Harlequin in to keep predatory fish away because the starfish will be drawn to the shrimp through a chemical/hormone type reaction. I’ve never used that method myself but I’ve had many tell me it works.
That's very interesting. I've never heard that either! I'm kind of scared to try it with a $50 shrimp though. What if the colander blows over?!

Oops… they were securing the colander near the top of the tank with a magnet or clamp

I saw a couple pages back that you ordered the gel filter samples. Have you never used gel filters for pics?

I’ve only used the clip on lenses, or a lens from a pair of glasses taped on the phone. I have several different brands of the clip on filters to use for different times in my light schedule.
