Despite my most dedicated efforts, my upgrade from 55 to 135 resulted in what was basically a new build.

Yes, I skip-cycled and I did not lose anything in the transfer save for a torch that was already bailing out before I started, but I am now 8 months in with this tank and I am still fighting algae issues and other similar problems that are generally associated with a new build.

So you are going to treat the new tank as a new tank... Good. I wish I had planned out my build better than I did. If I had gotten the dry rock "cooking" for several months before I made the transfer, I probably would have saved myself a lot of stress.
