Picked up some black mesh from a recent trade and thought I would try it out.
Here's a before and after, clear to black.

Granted these were taken at different times of the day, but the noticeable glare reduction with the black is pretty obvious.

looks good. will be curious as to if you’ll experience salt creep on it. unfortunately, my supplier doesn’t carry any black that i like. do you know where this stuff was sourced from?

looks good. will be curious as to if you’ll experience salt creep on it. unfortunately, my supplier doesn’t carry any black that i like. do you know where this stuff was sourced from?
I'll ask. It was tough using the old binding, which broke the mesh in a few places, but it should be fine. I clean the lid with a spray bottle of RO water once a month or so, but we'll see if it's an issue?

You made a lid for my 50 cube a few years ago which I really liked. I upgraded to a 225 a while ago recently took the canopy off and I want a lid for it. The tank is 72 x 27 in your opinion what works out better one big lid or 3 smaller ones.

single is better. cheaper too!
