Does anyone have a spectrometer that they can use to figure out how to best mimic the CoralLab SPS AB+ schedule on these lights?
I am thinking of mimicking the Hydra 26 HD settings as shown in the video done by
@randyBRS

Yes, I've got two Ocean Optics spectrometers, but no access to the CoralLab SPS schedule. I've got to break down and buy a Radion one of these days.

As best I can tell these use the same LEDs and channels so it should work. I was planning on trying that as well.

I'll let ya know what happens if you want me to guinea pig.

If you check out the video, BRS shows the spectrum of the XR15 in SPS AB+

Yes, but, percentage wise, we can reverse engineer the numbers to match what we can do, just not at as high of wattage.

Theoretically, we should be able to at least match color.

What I mean by that, I should clarify, is that to get say the 5% for reds when they are using 113% of RB. We can only put RB to 100%. So, divide 5 by 113 and multiply by 100 to get the relative percentage of red (4.24% so just 4%). Make sense?

For full coverage, for 36” light to sandbed, for 24” light to sandbed, multiply all numbers by 2/3.
Adjust as nessairy

He did his at 36" to the sandbed. So, in theory, to get close to the correct brightness, if you are 24" to the sandbed, you run 67% of what he is running.

I'm a little confuse, what did you mean to multiply the numbers by 2/3. 24" high to sandbed numbers in the table times 2? Or how it works.
He did his at 36" to the sandbed. So, in theory, to get close to the correct brightness, if you are 24" to the sandbed, you run 67% of what he is running.

Ok, well if I'm not wrong, I think that I will be placing mine at aprox 30" to 32" from the sandbed, so I will need to adjust to about 90% to 93% to get the same brightness?
