Hello

My tank size is 36x18x18
Have mounted 2x k7 pro 3 daisychained

(Wifi sucks on these tbh only AP worked for me)

My goal here is to keep SPS only and maybe some GSP at the back that’s it.

If you guys could suggest settings for 18inch height as most of the tanks I see here are more than this. I don’t have a PAR meter and cannot even borrow here. So its just guessing game now

rocks aquascape start at 6inch depth.

This was actually a plus for me. Coming from AI's that use Bluetooth, I saw no need for wifi and am glad they have a local AP option. One more step to make a change but after dialing it that's not often. I don't need these things on my network anyway ;)

Hi Hi

Mine is an 8 months old 48*20*30 tank using 2 NP lights on SPS/LPS mode.

1. K7v3 (older version a bit dimmer but OK)
2. K7pro3

Both lights are placed 6 inches above water while the SPS (acros, stylo, monti, and birds nest) are between 6-10 inches below the water surface. And below that are softies and LPSs.

Currently all seems happy with parameters at

CA=470
MG=1,440
KH=9.6

Hope this helps :) your tank looks promising BTW

I have two of these over a 75 gallon - so 48x18x18, they’re set 8” above the water.

I run all channels at 35% most of the day with a couple hours ramp up/down. Gives around 200-250par about 6” below the surface.

Acros and other SPS in the top half of the tank, softies and LPS in the bottom, GSP on back wall. Everything seems happy.

Note that the red and green channels only have a couple of diodes - so 35% on red/green is not the same as 35% on blue/white. They’re pre-dimmed vs the blues and (IMO) don’t need a lot of further correction.

I think your tank is almost same as mine could you please share complete plan with ramp up and down. How many hours?

Import this schedule using the QR code that is at the bottom, you can also adjust the colors to you liking and the QR code will automatically update. Open your ap while connected to your light click whatever profile you want SPS/LPS/LS click import use your camera to scan the QR code from the computer hit save and you’ll have your schedule set

Here it is, looks like I was a little off on the numbers - I forgot I tweaked them to add a bit more white and dampen the blues slightly. I also have a dim but blues heavy evening hour for all the fluorescents to pop.

I understand there’s a way to send these to a QR code but haven’t tried it before so don’t really know how.

One more question. I am running them for 5-6hours daily at 20% do these power supplies consume full power or whatever required by LEDs. Do these supplies stop consuming power when LED lamps turn off?

i have 1 on a cube 30" x 22" x 22"
with only softies, running it on the ab+ program i found here in the noopsyche section..
dialed it down to about 50% of those settings.. and its fine ever since.

also AP mode is all i use, its reliable and works fine.

really thinking of ditching my 4 coralcares on the 80" x 28" x 28" and replacing it with 5 of these, awesome light, just wish the fan was a little less loud, thats whats keeping me from changing to them.

The problem with AP is that I have to get off internet and then switch back to get the profiles here.
