Are you thinking copper overdose?

Or underdose...the chemistry of these tests isn't clear to me. If the Salifert only ranges to 1ppm, can you do a serial dilution to get the reading back on scale, or does the way the copper is bound to the amine make the test not work? IDK - I got a C- in chemistry (grin).

Ok guys went back to lfs new shipment came in still small but double the size and swimming and eating when I asked to see brought her home to fresh water no copper. No meds. Day 3 she's eating well and im
Very happy so I have just started copper at 1.0ppm Hanna. Thanks hopefully this time goes better

at 1.0ppm Hanna
Glad you got the Hanna Copper Colorimeter Checker. It's the high range one, right? You will probably need 1 or 2 sets of the reagents.

Hope your tang keeps eating. Young ones eat a lot of meaty foods. As they grow they tend more towards the seaweeds. If you are interested, read through the Fish Nutrition post.
