He remains in the tank for now! hoping the vermitid was the culprit. Only time will tell. I'll stop back here in a few weeks and update on whether the flesh of the acro is growing back or not.

I hope you figured it out. My long spine Urchin was taking chunks out of my Sps, now he lives in my sump
Same happened to me with a 15 year old short spice urchin. All of the sudden it started taking chunks out of sps. But that’s 100% vermatid damage.
