I voted other. As in NO WAY Jose! Technically-that’s a lie. I currently have two 40g. I will be consolidating into one. But am highly considering setting up a 10g fish qt alongside a 5g invert / coral qt. But i don’t consider those “new tanks”

I have right now 26 tanks (not counting sumps, provisional holding or quarantine tanks):
a 90 gallon "reef tank",
a 65 gallon BSJ biotope,
a system with 18x 20 gallon tanks,
a system with 6x 40 gallon tanks,
and 2 breeding systems with each 5x 20 gallon tanks and 3 larvae tubs are under construction...

I’m upgrading my 100g reef aquarium to a Crystal Dynamics 84”x30”x24” 260g. They’re almost done building it so hopefully I can start the build end of January or beginning of February.
Here it is in the process of being built

I'm gonna show this to my wife and tell here that "We need to catch up" with @ThRoewer. :)

I have a dream, but no real plan to build out half of the garage into a place where I can have lots of options for tinkering with corals in retirement. Keeping up with what I already have is a big enough challenge for us at the moment. Maybe, but realistically I'm probably not going to get around to this. It certainly isnt a necessity and would require a commitment that I am evaluating as an option. Also, she isn't going to allow me much time for dreaming while there is so many other maintance projects that need attention. But I am working on these, or at least I was until I took this break to check into virtual reality.

Just finished setting up a brand new Reefer 625 XXL. Even though I used healthy live rock and sand from my existing reef aquarium, I'm still battling the ugly phase (diatoms). Once those clear up, I'm excited to move my corals from their temporary holding bins to the DT. Fish are already in and doing great.

I think a second tank would have to wait for a new house. If I add anything it'd be something easy to break down like a frag tank. I have been considering a freshwater shrimp tank though...I have an 11.4g rimless just sitting around

New Year’s wishes: Will you add a new tank in 2023?

Whether it is upgrading your current tank or adding another tank, are you hoping to add a new tank in 2023? Maybe a frag tank, a quarantine/observation tank, a display tank, or even a freshwater or brackish tank – adding another aquarium may be in your plans for this year. Tell us if you are thinking about another tank and what it would look like? If not, tell us why not. Let’s discuss the possibilities of another tank in your future this year!

I don't plan on it, 4 is plenty!
I would like to upgrade my 110 to a 180+ , but that certainly isn't in the cards for this year.

I’ve got 3 aquariums. The reef and 2 fresh. My wife said after setting up #3”that‘s the last one” with some authority. I think the only way a new tank comes in is if I won the lottery somehow and could set up a aquarium den.
