I’d love to have a second tank but I don’t think I can swing it at this point.

As for the triggers I’m looking at the Niger, Blue Jaw and/or Picasso

Love the clown trigger too but I’ve heard they can be very aggressive.
I have a male and female Blue Jaw Trigger. They have worked out great for me and don't bother anything. They also eat anything I put in the tank—TDO Pellets, Freeze-Dried Krill, and Fauna Marin pellets.

Nice work! I bought the original G1 750 Max XXL 4 years ago.... and unfortunately (for me) the tank's seam failed about 8 months ago. The good news is, I contacted Red Sea and they replaced the entire tank/sump with a G2 + came with an ATO for no cost! Even though it was a couple of months past the standard 3 year warranty. So far, so good. It did rather suck but i have another 180g tank and with the help of some local Reefer friends i was able to save 90% of the coral, live rock and all fish.

Once the new tank came, mixed 1/2 old sand with 1/2 new sand, added old live rock and completely skipped cycling. Here's the G2 now. Cheers and best of luck with your build.
