Hello Andres and Welcome to R2R! I have a 180 and really enjoy having an aquarium of that size. I have a custom built stand and canopy both made from wood. I made the doors as I had the time since I'm retired. I use LED hydra 32's for the 3 lights in the canopy roughly 13' over the water for proper spread. I have internal overflows which go into the sump. The sump has a protein skimmer and a refugium along with the return pump.
wow!!!!! would love to get feedback from you or any other advice you can offer!!!

Welcome Andres. A 180g , very exciting! I have a 180g as well. Not sure how far along you are but the actual aquascape is really the visual foundation of your tank. You should really give serious consideration to how you want your tank to look. For the most part having a stationary structure for the next decade or two etc. is going to provide stability which is what you want on all levels. CaribSea life rock forms, arches and pedestals are my go to. No regrets. Do yourself a favor and buy 2-4 pieces of quality live rock in addition to the boxed rock. Good luck.
