Just made a video showing how the custom rules work. These can do a lot and more features will be added such as triggering custom rules via schedules and equipment state and adjusting the output level on the DC ports. Currently you use these to controller things like heaters and ATO but later there will be dedicated pages for things like that to make it simpler. Everything is done is real time, emails and sensors are managed on their own CPU thread so nothing can interfere or slow it down.
  • Add stability delay so rule doesn't trigger prematurely
  • Set delays for each piece of equipment being switched allowing you to stagger steps
  • Turn equipment, on, off, on/off, or off/on. Set delay between on/off and off/on
  • Set if custom rule should finish or abort if sensor resets
  • Use 1 or 2 sensors (ph, temp, humidity, flow, floats, optical, non-contact) to trigger rule. With 2 sensors you use AND / OR condition
  • Control AC outlets, DC ports and dosing pumps
  • If dosing, select how much to dose and suspend dosing for X number of minutes so you don't overdose by accident.
  • Email alert

Here's another video showing the same DC port in the video above is speed controllable, not just on/off. All DC ports are like this.

I just launched the Kickstarter campaign, the new additions are the conductivity circuit and a stepper motor controller for dosing pumps. You can find all the info on the campaign page.
