A few days ago I had 2 clown fish and a damsel die, almost out of no where. The first clown started to swim horizontal and looked like he was having trouble swimming at times. Then the second started doing the same, then the damsel. But the damsel was a lot different please help if u can

It's a 55 gallon long, salinity is 1.024 nitrate is 0.25 nitrites 0 ammonia is 0 ph is about 8.0-8.2 I also almost lost my coral beauty woke up and she was laying sideways in the tank gasping for air, but I removed her right away and into my qt tank

Are you using algae removal products or other chemicals currently? Sounds like you might be low on o2. What kind of filtration are you using? Any water movers? How long ha the tank been running? Pictures of the whole tank might help also.

Sorry to hear about your fish , that’s heartbreaking but I’m positive you will find help here ,, this site is full of knowledgeable people with great advice,, I personally don’t have answers for you but sure somebody has a clue ,, good luck

I'm using a fluval 306 canister and a wave maker that stats it moves 562 gallons an hr but I was having slight red bacteria so I used the red slime but that was about a month prior, but the night before we lost one of the clowns I removed all the alge in the tank by hand

From the look of it, you’re running a canister filter? I would assume not enough water agitation for oxygen exchange. And for the white things, can you send pics. Perhaps flukes. A freshwater dip would help to confirm.

Since starting the tank, I've used prime for making the water, and red slime stan remover, rid ick , those were what was used prior to the fish passing away, but since they have passed I've done a fermadylde dip, and currently using prazipro
Are you using tap water?
