Hello fellow Reefers. The decision has been made to upgrade from my current 29g biocube to a 75 g cube. Tank is 24x24x30 Reef ready deep blue corner overflow with a custom stand 32x28x36. I will be running a sump/fuge 22x22x15. I want to go with chaeto. I am going to reuse a lot of my old equipment and upgrade a few things. I want to make it more automated eventually. Def planning on Apex, I have the Kessil A360x tuna blue on the bc and love it. Also have 1 mp10 with another on the way. Plan on going bare bottom as of now. Want a tower type rock structure. It will be a mixed reef. I had the Biocube gifted to me about 18 months ago and it has been a bit of a struggle with such low water volume. I enjoy it but always wanted bigger. It was enough to get me back in the hobby after a long hiatus (8year). I was successful with my previous tanks but after my 110 gallon mixed reef crashed I lost the love but am regaining it now. Taking my time with this one. I want to set it up right and have a successful change over.

equipment list:
73g tall cube
29gallon sump
Apex
Vertra pump
Mp10 x3
Kessil a360 tuna blue
Kessil H80 fuge light
Bermuda skimmer (already have)
UV sterilizer ???
Phos reactor ( already have)

Anyone ever take out a corner overflow and put in bulk heads or seal them off for a cleaner look. I always wanted a exterior overflow and that corner overflow takes up a lot of valuable real estate. I am planning on getting a piece of black starboard to put in there anyway. Idk...saw another thread where someone got an old tank and redid the bottom and it got me thinking. Maybe...I should try and get rid of it. Any thoughts or advice. Tge tank is going to be in the corner anyway so idk if I should but your input would be nice. Thanks in advance.
