Question for someone with 1st hand experience setting up a 15G HelloReef kit.
On the description of items included is a bottle of Dr. Tim’s one and only live nitrifying bacteria for cycling the tank but no mention of a bottle of Ammonia Chloride solution.
From what I’ve seen so far in the YouTube videos, I thought the Ammonia chloride was needed to feed the ( one and only nitrifying bacteria ).
Can someone explain this to me please

Ammonium chloride is a regulated chemical in some places so likely not included in your kit for logistics reasons. In most states within the US you are free to just buy it on amazon though. I think it’s mostly a European problem.

Okay. Am I in the ball park with the idea to add the ammonia chloride to the Dr. Tim’s one and only nitrifying bacteria for cycling the tank?

yes, you can also use a piece of shrimp from the market and put it in the tank that will also add ammonia into the system but not as quickly or in as controlled a manner
