That is beautiful!

I wish I was as lucky as you were. 18 months ago my LFS had a 6-line in stock and I picked it up..:mad:

Yeh, sorry dude!
I can't have shrimps due to the puffer, dwarf fuzzy lion and flame hawk, it was a one inch fish, I only wanted it for pest control, I was willing to take the gamble! ;)

I thought you did not really care too much about fish;Smuggrin You have a nice collection!

I feed the clowns, the lion and the flame hawk, everyone else can take care of themselves pretty much, one of the main reasons I run the tank "grubby", with the macro algae in the cube there are always greens available as well.
The main reason I don't set up my ato is because I dump a gallon of ro into my return section twice a day, keeps the detritus down and dumps pods into the top tank (s) twice a day. ;)

You will be better with a Melanarus Wrasse, they are peaceful and beautiful. The Six Line are a toss up, mine is a little $&@#. Believe me you are better without it.

I’ve been hearing a lot about 6 line wrasses recently, are they really nasty little things in general ?

They typically make it impossible to have any other wrasses in the tank. Otherwise, they may or may not show aggression to other smaller fish in your system.

You are better without them, mine is harassment machine. Every wrasse I add need to be much larger otherwise it very difficult. They are very territorial, I still do not know what I am going to do when the he grows!

I like the Montipora as well. If I were a fish that is where I would hang out. All the cool fish party at the Montipora.

Trachy's would make awesome bouncy houses if it wasn't for the water resistance!

I need to start documenting them, currently doing nothing about the potential nudi problem.
I will get whole coral pics where I can.
This is the only piece to come out for a dip and a snip, I think this had the only egg cluster.

The big green "tree" monti, exploding with growth. :)

Doing what it says on the tin! ;)

Like wise, it's twin looks the same but some idiot placed two digis in front of it! :p

This needs more light but I like it there, it is colouring up red slowly! :)

This is the $13 rescue from a few weeks back, lovely shape.
I think it will be a nice sage / grey green colour, the only monti in the tank having non of that PE nonsense!
It is starting to fire up the growth tips and is well fleshed, go dude! :)

Well, what happened was, ...

The 6 line was gone, probably a good thing.
No possum wrasse.

This was pretty!

I know right, scientific as ever! :p

Oh and if you had just met my flame angel and her attitude you'd have your fins welded to your side as well! ;)

Gorgeous wrasse @najer.

Gorgeous longfin flasher.
Sunglasses needed soon.

That isn't a flasher, but a Cirrhilabrus rubeus, aka ruby long fin fairy wrasse. It was formerly grouped with C. rubriventralis, the long fin fairy wrasse, but recently got it's own description.

They are middle of the road peaceful as far as fairy wrasse go. I had one until he jumped...:( Got along with everyone. Unfortunatly, fairy wrasse are not much for pest control. Macropharyngodon or Halichoeres would better suit that role. Your M. negrosensis is probably doing his/her job of keeping the MEN problem at bay.
