My new Red Sea 525 XL Build

Hey everyone, the 525 XL I ordered over Black Friday will be getting delivered this week! I have an existing 75 gal, but other than the lighting and fish this build will be from scratch.

Already purchased:
Maxspect 4K Gyre pump
AI Nero 3 (will be purchasing a 2nd)
Vector S2 return pump
48” T5 hybrid (from previous tank
2 NICREW 150W LEDs

I still will eventually need a protein skimmer, and plan on adding a reefmat down the line as well. Open to suggestions on the skimmer.

My stock that will transition over:
2 Ocellaris clowns
2 engineer gobys
Coral Beauty
2 Lyretail damsels
Lyretail anthias
Starry Blenny
Pink spotted watchman goby

For the aquascape I’ve purchased a few different Caribsea products including a reef tree and reef first kit. Attaching my first attempt at the reef tree kit as well!

This is a build I will be looking forward to following!

I would consider a Reef Octopus Regal skimmer. Either a 150 or a 200 depending on the stock level you're planning. I have a similar sized Cade tank and I use the 150.

The tank is here! Spent the last few days breaking the previous one down, and getting this new one assembled. This is where things currently stand with the aquascape and looking for some feedback. The only thing I’m hard set on so far is the structure on the left. I tried to create a lot of natural caves and archways, I understand there will be some dead spots with an aquascape like this, is that something to be overly concerned about?

Realize I haven’t updated the thread in a while, but the tank has been up and running for a few weeks now! Going for a mixed reef so tried to create a variety of angles, caves, and levels with the aquascape.
