I run one, the thing is sweet! I use a 2-prong Kasa smart plug and setting schedules with that is a breeze..

Wait, are you using this on a rimmed tank? Did you need the standard mount or the xl?

Yeah but this apex has nearly broken my simple brain several times. I think I'll go for the kasa outlets, at least at first.

Hopefully the hydros is simpler? Apex seems geared towards the tech group and it's hard for my simple self.
Aoycocr are cheaper and work just as well. I run 8 of them.

I used garlic for the first time yesterday... Everything in the tank went full out feeding frenzy including the corals. Two drops of Seachem garlic on a cube of frozen Mysids in a 125...

I'd say yes.
I might just go with Seachem myself. Thank you.

Sorry, I lied. It's Coralife. Brightwell and Seachem are really good brands though. Pretty much everything I use for additives are Seachem and Brightwell but the Coralife Garlic was on sale and I decided since it's cheap I might as well give it a try!

What about actual (grocery store) garlic?

Never tried it. We buy the Sam's Club bulk garlic that has a significant amount of garlic oil. It smells a little different than the Coralife Garlic but it might work?

Member's Mark garlic says Garlic, water, Citric acid.
The first time I made the fish food I actually took a clove of garlic and used a lime-press to get the juice. It worked pretty well.

Did you eat the garlic afterwards?
