If , I a person who is not an engineer , did most of my research on YouTube, nails it his first try sealing a tank that's lasted for 3-4 years now.

Red sea smh

I guess the difference is I over engineered and they try to get by with a hair over acceptable.

So, there's not so much to know "programming" wise. Basically, you'll need 2 smart outlets, one for the feeder and one for the mixing pump. They have a calculation on how long to run the feeder to feed a certain amount of food, so you'd program the mixing pump outlet to come on, then the feeder outlet, then have the feeder outlet turn off after however long you want to it to run, then the mixing pump.

Since I only have 2 juvenile clowns eating it right now, I just have the mixing pump come on, then the autofeeder runs for only about a minute, then the autofeeder turns off and I have the mixing pump run for a minute more. I'm getting a KASA strip this weekend so that I can also have my return pump and wavemaker outlets turn off when all this is happening, too.

So, basically, the Plank is just on/off and any programming comes from whatever smart outlet and/or controller you plug it in to.

Yes me, I don't have it set up currently but it ran consistently on the big tank. I used gosund smart outlets since my sump has built in strips and stuff and I could split those up as I wished. Generally turned on the mixer a few min before then the feeding on when I was ready and the mixer back off a few min after. I let mine only run about a minute, but I had several feeding sessions throughout the day.

Can't speak for how it works with apex though.
