Hmm, I'm not sure how this'll work... Will take pics when I get to the office.You don’t need it if the outlets for the return pump are about level with the water in your DT. However if there is one (or two but both) loop a few inches below the water line of the DT you will want to drill. I’ve only had this issue on tanks that didn’t have an internal pipe for the return.
