It had some tip damage from trying to remove it from the guys tank and he had it in a shaded area already starting to see some better coloration on it in just a few days beeing in higher light.

what "station" aka frequency? If referring to shortband (2.3-26.1) this gets a little easier. If you are talking about something like 650 (Grand Ole Opry station basically), then it becomes a bit more complicated. Need to understand if you are wanting to receive only or transmit and receive.

Another thing to consider is that normal AM (radio stations) reduce power at night and typically do not run at the power they used to run during the day, compared to years ago. In shot, power is turned down at night, as it broadcast further then and they would be walking all over each other. So time of day you want to listen to them would be needed as well.

?? only receive , AM Chicago , time: afternoon /evening , AM 670 ,AM 720 ,Chitown based .
