When imported, it was listed as an acropora tortusa (tort for short). It was a mariculture colony, and even the tag on the base listed it as that. If that is really what it is, not sure lol. It does have the same structure as my massive myagi tort, but does not shoot out long growths like the myagi.I think when it gets bigger it looks like this if it's the same peice...

I guess there is a version of the Oregon tort that purports being an Oregon but is questionable as it doesn’t quite have the same depth of blue as the original. I’ve seen it discussed in a number of threads but I do not think anyone has a verifiable way of proving it other than through different coloration. Yeah I have a few I just call blue torts.. it’s way different than miyagi and Cali for sure.. looks similar to Oregon but doesn’t have the richness in it! It’s a bluish turquoise not the deep rich blue that Oregon shows..
