Pull with tweezers? Razor off?

Hassle to glue back down... Already have a grow out.

ahh... only safe removal for me only, kalk paste no thanks, too much can go wrong with it flailing in the tank. no chemicals either ..

Tweezers will do nothing. It won't pull the mat up they are growing from and new polyps will spring right back up.

Buy a dedicated woodworking chisel for use on live rock. Guiding and pushing the chisel with both thumbs, take a very thin slice from under the growth mat. Clear it back as far as you want to.

The part you remove should easily be able to glue to a plug or disk.

can also just score with hammer n chisel ,then chop out chunk of rock also , no gluing required...

So the Zoas aren’t opening? The OO Zoas have been closed the hole day. Everything else looks good the new Acan is puffy the Duncan is extended completely and the other Zoas are open as well, (only one head closed). Haven’t tested yet……other than the Calc which is at 460. Anyone have ideas as to why they are closed?
