hi guys well lets say going into labor tomorrow 4pm contractions will start the trek ,baby in hands bout noon fri,home fingers crossed fri 10 pm ,will take pics all along ,have calvary to help load baby,hehe hopefully i can just watch and take pics ,lol,i know how heavy when i moved sold 540 ,4 guys 2 backs up to rotate ,all worth it,thats just one ,including the 500
18-1900 gals of tanks eq stands sumps been without 4 months now,here we go...last move ever happy reefing :)

Well done. Takes forever to be delivered, but I figured out a lot of smaller hardware stores carry it. Maybe call around?

The issue with silicone and acrylic is acrylic has no pores. Therefore there is nothing for silicone to attach to. All you get is a vacuum effect.

It Absolutely could last forever. The baffle could also come loose the first time you start filling it up and there is uneven pressure, or knock part of it with your hand pulling out filter material.. not worth it imho.

Building an AOI drop in is the same really as building out initial baffling for a sump.

Here is mine. Acrylic to Acrylic with WO4. Acrylic to glass with silicone.

I dont think its a big deal, unless we're talking the actual tank. Than people laugh at you.

I don't even Know anyone with a manual any more. Would have much preferred to teach my kids to drive on a Honda or Toyota 5 speed.

A dying art for sure.
Me I got one.my Mazda is a manual.
