Yup. On my "no go" list.I don't know my Wrasses but I'm guessing Lunare?
Please don't roast me but for my built in sump kit where acrylic met acrylic I just used super glue. It's held up very well.Well done. Takes forever to be delivered, but I figured out a lot of smaller hardware stores carry it. Maybe call around?
The issue with silicone and acrylic is acrylic has no pores. Therefore there is nothing for silicone to attach to. All you get is a vacuum effect.
It Absolutely could last forever. The baffle could also come loose the first time you start filling it up and there is uneven pressure, or knock part of it with your hand pulling out filter material.. not worth it imho.
Building an AOI drop in is the same really as building out initial baffling for a sump.
Here is mine. Acrylic to Acrylic with WO4. Acrylic to glass with silicone.
I almost bought one a few months ago but his colors were faded. Wasn't sure if he was unhappy, stressed, or sick.Yup. On my "no go" list.

Very much so!3 things can be true at once.
You are right - or one or two....However you're missing a point - also none of the three could be true3 things can be true at once.
Me I got one.my Mazda is a manual.I don't even Know anyone with a manual any more. Would have much preferred to teach my kids to drive on a Honda or Toyota 5 speed.
A dying art for sure.
