It's usually over in the adhesives sections with the glues and silicones. What sections do you normally find it in? I do have several Ace's, farm stores, a home Depot, and other hardware stores I could go looking at.

Do you think the 16 was necessary? I think I found weld on 4 local, but shipping on the 16 was way out there.I used 4 first then once it had set for 24 hrs I used a bead of 16
No it was extra peice of mind for me since I built a complete tank. I needed to be certain that the seams would hold. I think you can get away with just the 4Do you think the 16 was necessary? I think I found weld on 4 local, but shipping on the 16 was way out there.
better safe than sorry...Do you think the 16 was necessary? I think I found weld on 4 local, but shipping on the 16 was way out there.
On that piece, no, it isn't. 16 is thick like a gel. Good to use as a secondary fusion for tank seams but completely unnecessary for an AOI insert.Do you think the 16 was necessary? I think I found weld on 4 local, but shipping on the 16 was way out there.
Easiest way to look at 16 is like the bead of silicone that gets used around all of the inside corners of a glass tank.On that piece, no, it isn't. 16 is thick like a gel. Good to use as a secondary fusion for tank seams but completely unnecessary for an AOI insert.
Agreed, and it comes off your fingers way easier than siliconeEasiest way to look at 16 is like the bead of silicone that gets used around all of the inside corners of a glass tank.
4 is like the silicone between the edges of the panes.

Hit the YouTube machine. Watch a video or two to be comfortable with the process, lay things out and let er rip tader chip.So I lucked out and not only did they sell me a bottle but they scrounged around and found an applicator.
111 MPH n ready to shift too...Ha. New car is slow.
This is a 90 Volvo about to shift into 4th. We will not say how big the turbo is or how much boost lol.
I say about to shift, but was still a little under 2k rpm from redline. (shift light in dash due to tach not going to 8k lol and it about stops pulling hard, so know when to shift by feel) but mine has a gen x and y antitheft device, it is called a clutch lol. The dual plate clutch helps to prevent theft also lol.111 MPH n ready to shift too...
if you're nervous, you could always get some scrap acrylic to test on.Hit the YouTube machine. Watch a video or two to be comfortable with the process, lay things out and let er rip tader chip.
You'll need way less liquid than the applicator holds. No need to put more than half an inch in there. You'll still be pouring it back in after.
Also, using the speed square you already have in that picture will help hold each piece for 90° while you apply the liquid.
I don't even Know anyone with a manual any more. Would have much preferred to teach my kids to drive on a Honda or Toyota 5 speed.I say about to shift, but was still a little under 2k rpm from redline.
