These fish have already been offloaded at the wholesaler, and we're in holding tanks for days. My guy goes and hand selects fish, bags and drives them to the shop. Imo a fish should be able to last 2 hours in a bag. Many seem not to be able to any more.

Not trying to start a debate on ethics of fish stores. However, if there was a coral fish hell. It's located here in Springfield, IL. No, you can't give them advice. And these people give advice.

them fish need to come off direct flight ,and opened asahp.
same fish to Chicago as LA NY FL, 2hrs longer flight ,never seen 25% loss.
in 30 yrs...

You would end up in a fight with the people at nature's select. I don't want to bring in a second witness. I was hoping things changed. They are losing more money in inventory than making a profit.
2 years ago, just about. July of 2020. Walked in looking for live stock. It was almost 2pm. The guy said "every body is still in bags, haven't gotten around to them". He was sitting in his chair chatting with another worker.

Back in sept. I offered the guy 15 for an acro growing algae on it. Dying.. He said "I'm here to make money, not lose it."
Btw, the coral never look good in those tanks. Gha, aiptasia take over. Nothings changed in 2 years.

Edit: at least all petcos I shop at have tried.

Are you starting at recommended dose?

I started way low on the advice of @LRT , and have raised it slowly But I don't think I'm even close to the recommended dose yet to hold steady.

No, with my 1 scoop.. I am way under recommended dose. Making new batch. And trying again. However, I do believe they like the afr colors are popping.

I meant now that you are going to be adding the correct amount of up sauce, Are you starting at the recommended dosing per gallon from the bottle?

I believe I started just north of half the recommended dose in ml/gallon daily.

Yup. Going back to 21 ml daily. Testing 2 days. Testing tuesday and friday.

Don't get me wrong. Its fun! No ones suffering and showing discomfort either.

Because I've been dosing seachems reef complete. To keep numbers steady.

I wonder if there's any benefit in a super low dose of an antihistamine?

From what I understand, the poison is just like a bee sting. I don't know if fish suffer from anaphylaxis..
