yes they are hair curlers taken apart. cost me only $14 bucks compared to those plastic 55 gallon barrel design plastic things that are for the same use in a air reactor but sell for $99.00 a bag or bio balls that sell for like $50.00 buck a gallon. You do not want to use bio balls in the air exchange tower because they may clog over time.

I have a metal cage in my back, knee replacement, screws in various places and most of my left side was shattered at one point. I do not like the cold lol. It was 25 last night and I never even looked outside lol.

I don’t mind the cold. But even I will admit last night was brutal. Crazy windy. Ambient temp in the 20s before wind chill factored in.
