Sweet I’ll check it out , now my next question haha I’m not good with buying the right equipment should I get one rated for 20 gallons or one higher up
Higher is better safety. You also might consider two heaters for redundancy (2 rated at 20 gallons or higher would be good).

I recently had my heater go out on my FOWLR. Since I only have one heater, the temperature dropped to room temperature (70 F) before I noticed the issue and corrected it. Thankfully, the only coral is a toadstool leather and the fish and coral survived the temperature drop.

Redundancy is a good safe-guard.

"Not a tummy pick again daddy?"

"I explained that you are under long and a few said that's fine as they are under tall!" ;)

Am I able to hook up 2 heaters to a temp controller?

Yup. Most heater controllers only have one plug, but you can use a 2 way or 3 way on it with no issues. Just be sure not to exceed the wattage rating for the controller. Most are 1000-1200w, so with your tank and heater size, no issues.

That depends on the temperature controller. Typically, I would say yes for 20-gallon-sized heaters. As long as you have two outlets (or add a splitter/power strip) after the controller, both can be controlled. Just make sure the controller is rated for combined power of both heaters (as mentioned before, this seems likely to me for smaller heaters).

Ha, I see I'm a bit late and an electrical expert has already answered more concisely! @Eagle_Steve

Use it with a 2-way or 3-way like mentioned if you do get two heaters. I've heard some negatives about InkBirds failing on, but they also seem to be pretty reliable for most. Personally, I got Ranco controllers which are industrial-grade but more expensive than these hobby-grade InkBirds (twice the price, I think, when I bought them). I also have some of the same InkBirds that I will use for less-critical applications.

For my 125-125 setup, I plan to have 2 Ranco controllers for 2 800W Finnex Titanium heaters (1 heater per controller) so that I have plenty of heating power and redundancy on both the heaters and the controllers, but this would probably be overkill for your setup to replicate even with 2 InkBirds and 2 100W-200W heaters...

get
There was engineer goby talk somewhere but I got confused as to where, mine is over 12 inches now and shifts pounds of sand a day, great fish as long as you are aware of what you are potentially getting in too. ;)
