Did some rearranging. Put in a frag rack rock for zoas. Had to use Dremel to cut it so it would fit. Saved the piece that I cut. Still has 2 holes si it could be useful. I have a couple of 3 hole frag racks coming. Same style as the majority that I have. Couldn’t resist, found small Goni colony at PetCo for $40 . Kinda plain light green body with fairly bright tips and good extension. 2 new fish though I’m probably going to bring back one as it was almost immediately targeted by the Mel wrasse (it’s a Black Leopard wrasse , appreciably smaller). Bought a small acclimation box to protect it until Thursday when I can bring it back. The others a somewhat shy Velvet wrasse. Not being picked on, so hopefully will settle in well soon. 48F74FC6-BD1E-4491-ABFD-5D6F8981382E.jpeg

Kind of quiet small changes for the moment. Had to do a few moves. One was due to my Bernardpora stinging my Micromussas. Moved it to rock in the back away from anything else. Moved the HG Micros I got in its place. Oh new build thread sometime soon. Getting a Fiji Cube 22.4 gallon for Acros/SPS in the next few weeks.

The Frog that my clowns loved too much died. I’m starting to feel like making clown sashimi considering their tally is now 2 Gonis and the Frog. Removed the dead coral and moved a Goni that was unhappy with its position high up. Overall tank is pretty good shape.

Should host that toad stool. It could probably take it.
The trick is getting them interested in doing so. Plus the Black Widow nem is right in front of their faces.

I see that now. Can you trap it over the nem till it's hosting or eaten?
Doubtful. At least the rest of the Spawns are looking in good shape. And for whatever reason this Goni doesn’t seem to mind. They’ve both used it off and on. I miss the days when they’d hang out with the Duncans. There’s this bta as well that’s been slowly moving to the top of the rocks the last few days after being in the rear.

Maybe it's a cost thing. The Duncan doesn't cost enough for them. But then they'd be fine in the black widow...

Changed out my media caddies. Replaced the stock carbon/gfo with a Chemipure Blue on the left and Purigen on the right. And of Course the cotton balls for large particles. I’m thinking I probably should vacuum the rear sump of my AIO occasionally considering how cloudy it got afterwards. Also decided to play with the flow a bit. Switched from random to pulse. So far corals seem to be liking the change.

They’re one of my favorites. Amd what’s not to like? Small, attractive and mind their own business
Besides no one seems to bother them either, even ease up when they are around.

And yours is looking chunky too! That's good to see. mine less so.

She started off looking a bit thin. But has been active eating pods. Won’t use the place I got her from again. I had ordered 2 mandarins as well as a yellow coris . The other mandarin was crazy thin and the coris I haven’t seen for at least a week. Aside from the poor communication from the store. Do not use Pete’s Fish Place. The other mandarin disappeared a couple days ago, so I’m assuming the worst.

I hope the assumption is wrong and they pull through. Sorry about the struggles though. my green is probably average thickness for history, the blue is gaunt. they said it was eating in the store and I've seen it pick at the rocks, but I think I need to beef up the culture.
