Have you ever had them form a pair?
Briefly. Even had eggs and fry but since it’s a community tank , they didn’t last very long. Not to mention the pair were rather shoddy parents. They’ve since unpaired.

Once mine paired up, everyone else got evicted. Project lasted for almost 2 years. Fry is hard to raise.

Yup they are. I think that if I were I were serious, I’d need a dedicated aquarium den.

Its not worth it in my opinion. Unless you plan on trying for a new skin coloration. I haven't kept up with the show discus. Some patterns have been remarkable!

Well the two that paired up were a red tourquoise and blue Diamond high fin. Not sure the color combo would look good.

So today is doing a 10 WC and afterwards putting new corals in. WWC live sale some odds and ends. And a Battlebox from BattleCorals. Will post pics when I finish.

Nice! That first five is a rush. Been chasing that ever since.

That was one of my biggest hauls ever... I won a $200 GC for a floss-off competition.

Well I was think of doing a water change today to supplement the small 3 gallon one I did yesterday. But everything looks so happy I’m not sure I want to. Gonis are really doing best overall in a long time. I’ve got one micro rainbow that I’ve had for almost as long as I’ve been reefing (albeit 2.5 yrs isn’t really very long) that’s withdrawn. The last pic is the Bubblicious.

Floss-off?

I also won an xr15 g5 from the wwc sale.
Yeah, all the kids were doing it. I made a video of me making a fool of myself and posted it for everyone to see. Won a $200 GC

Prudent people would say do it before it becomes a problem. Not my vibe but I see their point.

New corals in today. Some placement on the rock-work. So now that I’ve got most of the pieces quite literally, my layout for the tank is coming together pretty well. Top is sps with the Stylos and Pocis as well as Montis and hopefully Acros. Middle has some Gonis, Cyphastrea, and Micros. Probably going to put Pavona somewhere around there as well. Bottom will /has Gonis on right side with some Favia/Favites on frag rack on glass (for now). Middle has a mix with my intent to have 2 Zoa rocks in total. Micromussa are also on this level as well slightly above the sand. Then on the right some Alveopora and moving to the left Frogspawn and Torches on the bottom and some mixed lps and sps above on racks.
