I figured better growth under halides and better color under leds but that’s not the case this far.. they’re not totally colored up so I’m letting it run it’s course to see what happens in the next couple months.

Yeah they all do well, I just like t5's ability to grow acros uniformly, the base are always strong and healthy! Here's the prop, all LED, which looks cool too :)

Nice! I’m waiting for everyone to dump their v2 breeders when the new ones come out so I can pick a couple up to add to my halides..

I tried kessil they gave me a headache, then Reefbreeders, they are $$$.
I researched them, and after seeing Adam and Tim H's success, I figured why not! They are amazing, not sure what would make them much better? That's the problem with tech, probably why halide and t5 dead, lol... Cannot enhance it upgrade unless with bulbs, lol, but no need for an ATI Powermodule Gen 6, with an optional diffuser ;)

Our conversations have influenced a lot of where this is all headed. Lol, bring that bad boy by, mine isn't even worth mentioning, it's a baby's pinky nail sliver, that been hanging on for 3 months now, it actually might make it, would be the best achievement ever!!!
Lol

A small amount of green, and a 2nd little booger sliver, lol... Believe it or not this is improving, freaking dinos hit that one hard several months back!

Three frags scattered all around the tank in various light zones. All look the same, brown… haha.

I have another frag just like the one on the plug sitting on my rack, also brown. I’ll bring it by see if a new environment does something to it.

Hey brother
Ha,ha, thanks for the kind words!
I actually do the coral snow after scraping or sand stirring in prop tank. I do small frequent water changes for sediment removal in display. I mix a quick bucket, siphon a bucket. This is easy and more practical. I do this every 4-5 days. Those days no Snow or Rebiotic

Ummm sounds interesting. Might give it try with some adjustments. But as always, thanks Master Perry!

Oh heck no! No master in this game, a student, and observer at best. I am fortunate to have the opportunity to keep these corals, and find temporary success. Hopefully I can do their previous caretakers well :)

Updated FTS, been doing reef surgery this week, and still settling on aesthetics. Keeping a modular style reef had been great, cause all the rocks with multiple corals are battling! Hence the surgery, like the Pearlberry being chopped, and re-mounted. My OG Pink Lemonade saved it by a couple hours, it went fr9m encrusting war, 5" og encrusting tissue, boom! Got it before the main stalk. The Purple Snow is apparently pretty aggressive! The millis are now kind of grouped too, so it's been a busy week so far!

Looks great as always Perry!

Thanks Tim,
Progress, just trying to get things as dialed in as possible, I think my JD might be putting out new growth, now that's a good thing lol.
In spirit of good, bad, ugly, I am working to also bring back my Hung's Rainbow, it took a hard hit a few months back with dinos, the stinging ones. This photo only taken because I think it has a chance, seeing more than a brown sliver, hues of green, quite promising :)
So, here's a starting reference :)
2 tiny pieces of tissue remain.

Yes this seems normal, I guess they lack tge ability to create enough slime to repel and allow the flow to carry away. Makes logical sense to ne anyway, lol

It's not always about the hype, some corals just show better as they age. Here the TSA Bill Murray shows a unique growth pattern, reminding how a colony is worth the wait :)

Looking good! I had to chop up my Garf bonsai or Tyree stick what ever it is.. it started growing well but turning brown on me ugh.. after further inspection I saw them coral Boring spinoid worms in it! Rrrrrr everything else looks fine and I don’t see them in other acros… I cut the whole infected part off and left the base with a nub! Hopefully gone! Not wanting to play that game..

I have a frag of this that is almost completely encrusted on the frag plug- can't wait till it grows out like this.

I hope I didn't miss this. I was curious how you feed the tank. How meticulous are you about how much you feed? I love the idea of dialing in your nutrient export. Just how forgiving is the import side of the equation?

Tank is looking great btw!
