Broke out the new toy to take my parameters. I pretty much have my 1+2+3+ in line now 1+3+ at 48 ml a day dosed twice a day and going to setup of 3 times daily this week and 2+ at 44 ml a day. Also figure out that 11.5 grams of AF reef salt mixes 1.0249 per gallon of RO/DI. I am also thinking of keeping the basic AF products on line but doing the @x_burt method of using seawater for my water changes. I found a tank to transport the water, but it concerns me of keeping the water at the quality when I fill, over a year.

Enjoy the short film, and yes I know I could have shot from a different perspective:p:p:D but it all about the cold beverages

I think I am going to do the lanthanum chloride thing to replace my GFO. It is just a pain in the butt to dig my GFO reactor out every few weeks from my tiny sump space and replace it. The GFO also makes it so I have 0.00 phosphates and then a big phosphate spike as it runs out. I am thinking about adding the appropriate amount of drops of lanthanum chloride daily to keep things more steady. Good to see it seems to be working for several people.

If you start using ATM agent green along side ATM outbreak it will be more likely you end up just doing a maintenance dose every week or so.
I think I also figured out my problem with the corals bleaching and dying, I think I was running my bio pellets to slow. I read that slowing down the bio pellets helps the bacteria, and this was about three weeks ago. Sped them back up to where the tank looked great and have to wait and see. The only ATM outbreak I am seeing is the Outbreak for fresh water. The have another product this one do you think it is the same?

You need the saltwater specific one. It's different strains of bacteria for fresh and saltwater
Thank you. It looks like they are doing some rebranding, and I am going for the one I linked.

I totally agree, my phosphates are under control for the first time in two years.

Do you run carbon @jsker?
Yes I am running bio pellets.

Question, do you thing treating the food before it goes into the tank is good or just treat the tank with the ATM Agent green? Do you need the skimmer and filter socks to export the phosphates using the lanthanum chloride
