ATM Agent Green is the only thing I use for phosphates. Haven't found anything more effective.
Thank you for the tip, the phosphate RX seem like they are using the same ingredients but the ATM Agent green seems to be less in price? what are you dosing per 10 gallons? are you doing this on a daily basis?

We are in liters here but it's 1ml for every 38 liters which is 10 gal so that would be 10ml for 100 gal to remove 1 ppm per day.

I also use ATM outbreak. It's basically an organic eating bacteria that lives in the sand and takes care of any excess food and fish poo. I dose that every month. Takes a while to build up but watch the skimmer take out less and less because it's so effective.

Dose agent green everyday until you get to required level and then just a maintenance dose when needed. No need to run a reactor.
you auto dose?

Be careful with that PhosRX, it's lanthum chloride and can crash your po4 levels leading to rtn. With a .08 reading, I wouldn't bother dosing that stuff.

Thank you for your replay, .02 to a trace is were I need to be at. I am dropping my Po4 at .03ppm right now and my coral are so much happier looking right now.

It basically binds the phosphate molecule to a calcium molecule which makes it possible to remove through your mechanical filtration
I saw the video, and explains why and what. I am also glad my Ca what up high and need to drop the Ca and this is doing it.

Tank is looking really good @jsker.

I got issue:oops: lost about 6 corals in the past two week trying to figure it out my issue of nutrients, mainly high Po4's I have been going through GFO like a rock star on booze:D As @x_burt is suggestion and I have been reading if dosed right and kept in check lanthanum chloride is a more controllable and cheaper way of controlling Po4's

Yea my po4 has gone up to about .04 (was putting less Phosphate minus in reactor) and alk went down to about 7.1 (at least from what I checked last night) I upped my dosing pump from 80ml/day to 90ml/day. Then will check what it is tonight.
what are you trying to keep the alk at?

I am there then, I need to up the alk by 1 ml to see if I can stead it out. Thank you. I have traditionally ran my alk higher 9 ish and with all of the changes I have made of the past 6 months things are starting to level off again. I also switched to water changes every two weeks now and thinking about going monthly.

Have to be disciplined with monthly changes. Easy to get out of routine.

Tank looks like it is settling down again. My Goni has opened up and fully extended, in fact both Goni's are opened up. Now just to nurse everything back.
I will check phosphates again tomorrow, and going really look into the products @x_burt suggested.
