Quick update everything is doing well. My sps is absolutely taking off and lps is healthy. I’m still battling a alage issue and I’m pretty sure my nutrient issue is from me over feeding. I’ve been way to generous with food the last week and I’m sure it’s not helping. I will be doing a 15 gal water change this weekend as well as a overhaul I’ve my rats nest of a electrical cabinet.
I also got my Triton analysis back and it wasn’t to shabby check it out

Haven’t updated in almost a week. Everything doing well and algae is slowly going away. I’ve held off on any new fish or coral due to the holiday but I’m starting to get the itch but I’m the mean time here a few pics taken yesterday.

Hello all ! The holiday season is here and I’ve been neglecting to update my build thread. All is well corals and fish all healthy and eating. I’m still battling a alage issue and it appears most of it is cyano. As stated b4 i forwent my qt process and decided to roll the dice and add fish directly to the system. I will be taking the nuvo 10 and making it a Nano Reef for my wife as she has expressed interest in having one of her own. I’m also flirting with the idea of getting a nem for my main dt and will be purchasing more coral from @usernam invalid after the holidays. Thinking about trying some Acro! Until then to all my friends on r2r hope your holidays are enjoyable and your new year is filled with excitement and hope. Here are some new addition along with some old ones

I’ve also decide to turn my nuvo 10 into a Nano Reef as my wife has really taken to the hobby. Although she dosnt agree with the money this hobby cost she was thrilled that I will be letting her take care and pick fish for her new mini aquarium! I look forward to the challenge of a nano reef esp after decent success thus far with my current tank. Check out the build thread !

I was looking at a flame hawk. I held off because it was listed at Reef safe with caution because it might eat shrimp. I have 2 large cleaner shrimp that I love and wouldn’t want them to be eaten. Although the mouth of the hawkish is so small that I doubt it could eat my large shrimp anyways

I really don’t think it would be a problem, maybe if you had much smaller shrimp. The flame hawk I had was my favorite fish by far, such a great personality.

Been a awhile since my last update. Everything is on par. I am sticking to my daily plan and trying to keep things as steady as possible. My fish stocking list is almost complete. So far I have
2 snowflake clowns
1 royal gamma
3 fire fish
1 bangi cardnial
1 wrasse
1 stary blenny
1 engineer goby
1 diamond goby
Still to get
1 hawk fish
1 coral beauty angel
1 dotty back

I run a oversized skimmer with weekly water changes so I can have a little bit of a heavier stock. All fish are getting along great and are peaceful.
As always I made a trip to @usernam invalid and picked up some new coral. Check out some pics
It was tough to get the true color as my blues were on to end the day.

I am trying to get a flame hawk and orchid dottyback but it’s been so cold here (below zero) that my LFS wants to wait till it warms up a little to order them, which I agree with. Is that a Duncan coral? If so you will be impressed with its growth rate, mine grows like a weed.

I haven’t put much thought into what kind of hawk fish. I saw a few at my LFS that I liked but got to read up on them more. Those are Duncan corals provided by @usernam invalid. I have one about a month old and it’s already making another head
